Coach's Comments
"It was a really good team win today. We got off to a very slow start offensively, but it was a great example, again, of what happens when you play really good defense. It keeps you in the game. We settled too much for threes early in the game. We finally started getting to the basket, drew some fouls and that loosened them up, then we started making some perimeter shots.

It was pretty apparent when we outscored them 22-4 in the paint in the first half, where we were going. Cam got us going in the first half. Damari played outstanding, not just offensively but I thought he played great defensive. Zach Keller gave us a great lift off the bench.

In the second half, we became a little too extended defensively late. They started getting inside of us a bit. We adjusted and then we put the game away. It was a really good team win with a lot of balance. I'm very proud of my players and we have a special day tomorrow. We're going to do community service here. We'll have a kids clinic at 10 a.m. for underprivileged kids, which I'm really excited about doing with our team. Then we'll practice in the afternoon and get ready to play the winner of the Georgetown-Loyola Marymount game." - head coach Steve Forbes
