Lewellen Named to Coach of the Year Watch List

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Wake Forest women's golf head coach and ACC Coach of the Year Kim Lewellen has been named to the Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year Watch List.
Lewellen was named the WGCA National Coach of the Year in 2020 after leading the Deacs to a No. 1 Golfstat ranking, four team titles in seven events, three individual titles and coached four All-Americans.
This season, the Demon Deacons won their second ACC title in four years and secured four team titles and four individual titles over eight regular-season events. Wake Forest had a record-breaking four players named to the All-ACC Team and swept the conference awards with Coach of the Year, Player of the Year (Rachel Kuehn) and Freshman of the Year (Carolina Chacarra).
The Deacs are currently ranked No. 4 in Golfstat and secured the No. 1 seed at the Franklin Regional next week.
