Four Deacs Named to All-ACC Baseball Academic Team

Wake Forest has now placed at least four honorees on the conference’s academic squad seven times in the last 10 years.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Four members of the Wake Forest baseball program were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Academic Team, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Adam Cecere (Communication), Rhett Lowder (Economics), Camden Minacci (Psychology) and Brendan Tinsman (Communication) garnered this prestigious honor thanks to a combination of academic and athletic achievements during the 2022 campaign.
This marks the first academic accolade for Cecere, Lowder and Minacci. Tinsman reeled in his second All-ACC Academic honor of his career after being selected to the 2019 team following his freshman season.
The baseball program has now placed at least four honorees on the conference's academic squad seven times in the last 10 years.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
