Five Demon Deacons Named ITA Men’s Academic Scholar-Athletes

WINSTON-SALEM — Five Wake Forest men's tennis players have earned recognition as 2022 ITA Division I Men's Scholar-Athletes, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced on Monday. Demon Deacons Vikas Deo, Tayte Dupree, Robert Maciag, Eduardo Nava and Jakob Schnaitter all won the honor.
Each Demon Deacon earned this accolade for the first time in their collegiate career.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:
- have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
- be listed on the institutional eligibility form
