WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's basketball team will play its second of two matchups against the Duke Blue Devils on Tuesday night (Jan. 31) in Durham. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. inside Cameron Indoor and the game will air live on ESPN.

Wake Forest (14-8, 6-5) is coming off a narrow, 79-77 loss against NC State Saturday (Jan. 28) inside LJVM Coliseum. The Deacs were led by Damari Monsanto in scoring for the sixth time this season, as the redshirt junior poured in 22 points on 8-of-15 shooting.

Tyree Appleby ended with 18 points and made nine of 11 free-throw attempts. The Atlantic Coast Conference's (ACC) assists leader also handed out a game-high seven dimes.

Andrew Carr fell just short of a double-double, totaling 14 points and grabbing nine rebounds. Cameron Hildreth was the fourth Deacon to reach double-digits in scoring, posting 12 points. He also added five boards while fellow sophomore Matthew Marsh contributed eight points and eight rebounds.

The Deacons made the most of their looks at the charity stripe, going 18-for-22 on free-throw attempts (81.8 percent). Additionally, the team tied its season-low in turnovers (six).

The Blue Devils are 6-4 in conference play and 15-6 overall. One of their six losses this season came in LJVM Coliseum on Dec. 20 when the Deacs won by nine points before Christmas. Duke is coming off an 86-43 win against Georgia Tech Saturday evening (Jan. 28) in Atlanta. Duke is led in scoring and rebounding by freshman Kyle Filipowski, who is averaging over 15 points and nine rebounds per game. Filipowski and fellow freshman Mark Mitchell are the only Blue Devils who have started every game this season.
