Deacs Return to Panorama Farms for 2023 NCAA Championships

The men’s 10k will begin at 11:10 a.m. ET and can be viewed on ESPNU.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Making a program record fourth-straight appearance, the Wake Forest men's cross country team will travel to Charlottesville, Va. for the 2023 NCAA Cross Country Championships Saturday at Panorama Farms.
The men's 10k will begin at approximately 11:10 a.m. ET, and the meet can be viewed on ESPNU. Additionally, live results can be found here.

Last Time Out (2023 NCAA Southeast Regionals)
Wake Forest climbed back from seventh place at the 5k split to finish fourth overall at the NCAA Southeast Regional a week ago.
Individually, the Deacs were led by Luke Tewalt as he finished in 28:59.7 to secure a top-five result. Of note, the Demon Deacons' top-five spread consisted of Tewalt, Joe O'Brien, Charlie Sprott, Gavin Ehlers and Hunter Jones.
A Year Ago (2022 NCAA Championship)
Wake Forest placed fifth at the 2022 NCAA Cross Country Championships, marking the highest finish for the program since 1989.
The Demon Deacons were paced by Zach Facioni (20), Luke Tewalt (22) and Aaron Las Heras (26) as the dynamic trio earned All-American honors. With his nod, Facioni became the first three-time All-American in program history.
Tewalt and Las Heras became only the sixth and seventh Demon Deacons to earn All-American accolades. Additionally, last season marked the first time Wake Forest had multiple All-Americans (Facioni, Tewalt and Las Heras) in the same season in program history.
