Wake Forest Inks Carolina Native on National Signing Day

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's basketball program and head coach Steve Forbes have announced the addition of Juke Harris to the squad beginning in the fall of 2024.
"Juke is one of the very best high school basketball players in North Carolina and in the country. He scores the ball off the drive and from three-point range, while possessing tremendous positional size on the perimeter. Juke is a terrific young man who excels on the court and in the classroom. - Led Salisbury to a 20-5 record (11-1 in conference) his sophomore year in 2021-22 for a first-place finish and a 22-6 record (11-1 in conference) his junior season in 2022-23 for a second-place finish.
- Averaged 23.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists his sophomore season.
- Averaged a county-record 29.2 points his junior season.
- Has scored over 1,500 points in three high school seasons.
- Set the Rowan County record for most points in a season with 818 his junior year, including four games with 40+ points.
- 2023 North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association District Player of the Year
- 2023 Central Carolina Conference Player of the Year
- 2023 Rowan County Player of the Year
- 2023 NCBCA All-State Team
