In the continued effort to ensure all fans at Allegacy Stadium enjoy the Best Fan Experience in North Carolina, the Wake Forest ticket office has announced a new annual seat rights program for home football games.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Thanks to the leadership of Coach Dave Clawson and his staff, along with talented play on the field by Wake Forest's student-athletes, the Demon Deacons are an astounding 23-7 at home inside Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium since 2019. Additionally, the Deacs have been fueled by tremendous and passionate crowds, including record-breaking student attendance over the past few years.

This innovative seating option is important for fans who buy into this plan because they now have the ability to lock in their seating location on an annual basis rather than having their seats reassigned ahead of each season to somewhere else inside Allegacy Stadium. Additionally, the only seat rights option prior to today's announcement was a multi-decade seating commitment. Therefore, this new annual seat rights program provides fans more flexibility and the assurance that they can buy the best option for themselves ahead of each football season. To participate in the program, there is an annual seat rights payment added on to the ticket cost which allows for the same seat renewals each year.

In the continued effort to provide a World Class Student-Athlete Experience, the Best Fan Experience in North Carolina and bringing Value to Wake Forest, Winston-Salem and the Triad Communities, Wake Forest Athletics is offering a new annual seat rights option for season ticket holders beginning with the 2024 season.

"With 2.7 million fans worldwide, the Demon Deacons fan base continues to grow and with the effort of our football student-athletes, our spirit squads and the Spirit of the Old Gold and Black, Allegacy Stadium has become one of the best home field advantages in college football," director of athletics John Currie said. "Today's announcement of a new annual seat rights program will offer loyal fans another option to lock in their seat location inside Allegacy Stadium with a convenient renewal annual commitment - another example of Wake Forest creating the Best Fan Experience in North Carolina."

Annual Seat Rights Overview
The new Annual Seat Rights option gives fans the ability to lock in their same seats on an annual basis without a multi year commitment. This peace-of-mind initiative enables season ticket holders to keep their same preferred seat location adjacent to Deacon friends and family on an annual basis. Additionally for ease of purchase, payment plans or up-front purchases are available for all who opt-in to the program.

With that, purchasers of this program have the ability to lock in their selected seats for a one-year or a longer term up-front option of five years at 20 percent discount. To participate in the program, there is an annual seat rights payment added on to the ticket cost which allows for the same seat renewals each year.

"We've created the Annual Seat Rights program at the request of loyal Deacon fans who want to lock in their seat location every year, but might not feel they are in a position to make a 10-or-15 year seat rights commitment," Senior Associate AD Brendan Jones said. "With nine sold out games since 2021 and exciting upcoming home matchups against our traditional and ACC foes as well as SEC and Big Ten opponents like Ole Miss and Purdue, respectively, season tickets through the annual seat rights program is a great way for fans to optimize the value of an Allegacy Stadium experience. Additionally, there are multiple exclusive benefits and renewal prizes for those who purchase season tickets that include access to the team, tickets to various away football games and much more."

Here is a breakdown of the annual and five-year option pricing for specific sections for ticket purchasers.

    • Allegacy Stadium shined brighter last season with the addition of new LED stadium lights, to be installed by Musco, an industry leader in the design, manufacturing and installation of sports lighting solutions.
    • Replacement of the old light banks with energy efficient LED light reflects Wake Forest's sustainability efforts and also improves dependability for both the record setting crowds in attendance but also ABC, ESPN and ACC Network national television audiences.

Specific items that are under consideration for future years inside Allegacy Stadium are a new sound system, a renovated Bob McCreary Video Board Honoring the Class of 1961, and seating enhancements and additions throughout Allegacy Stadium

Wake Forest Football Overview
Under the leadership of head coach Dave Clawson, Wake Forest has had historic success as a program.
Since the start of the 2016 season, the Deacs have the third-most wins in the ACC not counting the COVID-shortened 2020 season.

The Demon Deacons are in the winningest stretch of football in their program's history with the 35 wins from the 2019-23 season ranking fifth in a five-year span in program history.

With record-setting crowds, multiple sellouts and the best student attendance in school history, playing at home over the past five seasons has given Wake Forest a huge edge. The Demon Deacons hold a 23-7 (.767) record in home contests since the start of the 2019 season which included a program-record 11-game winning streak spanning from the 2020 to 2022 seasons. The 76.7 percent win rate ranks second in the ACC during that time period.

The Demon Deacons recorded their ninth sellout since 2021 and fourth of the season when Florida State came to Winston-Salem on Oct. 28, 2023.

Since 2016, the Demon Deacons have found a winning formula in one-score ball games, capturing three or more wins by one score in five of those seasons with a total of 21 wins in 38 such games. The Deacs hold the fourth-best winning percentage in those games since 2016 in the ACC.

All the aforementioned victories are due to having great players who perform well each week. The Deacs 54 All-ACC honors is the fifth most overall in the ACC since the 2019 season and Wake Forest is one of just six schools to have more than 50 honorees in that time span.

One player that garnered All-ACC honors last fall is junior defensive end Jasheen Davis as he has recorded at least 0.5 tackles-for-loss in the 20 of his last 21 games. Over the last two seasons, Davis has collected 30.0 tackles for loss and 14.5 sacks. With 7.5 sacks in 2023, Davis has now tallied 20.0 sacks in his career and that ranks fifth in program history.

Offensively since the start of the 2017 season, Wake Forest's 198 touchdown passes are the most of any school in the ACC and that total is 13th nationally during that span. Additionally during that span, the Deacs 361 total touchdowns are the third-most in the ACC and 21st nationally. North Carolina (192) and Clemson (181) trail the Deacs in passing touchdowns during that span. The Tigers enter the final week of the regular season with 448 total touchdowns and the Tar Heels rank second with 366. Wake Forest's 94 touchdown passes from 2021-23 ranks eighth nationally in that time period and is seven more than any other ACC team (North Carolina, 87).

During the Deacs run of bowl appearances from 2016-22, Wake Forest has defeated two SEC teams (Texas A&M, 2017; Missouri, 2022) and a Big Ten program (Rutgers, 2021). Head coach Dave Clawson's five bowl victories, which is the most in school history, ranks tied for fifth in ACC history for postseason wins. Clawson ranks behind Bobby Bowden (Florida State, 11), Dabo Swinney (Clemson, 11), Frank Beamer (Virginia Tech, 6) and Danny Ford (Clemson, 6). Meanwhile, he is now tied with Jimbo Fisher (Florida State, 5) and Ralph Friedgen (Maryland, 5).
