WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's basketball team travels to Miami on Saturday (Feb. 18) for an afternoon matchup with the No. 15 Hurricanes.  Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. in the Watsco Center and the game will air live on regional Bally Sports networks.

Wake Forest (17-9, 9-6) is coming off its third consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) win last Saturday night (Feb. 11) at LJVM Coliseum. The Deacs defeated Georgia Tech, 71-70, with a pair of made free throws by Tyree Appleby in the final seconds of the game. Wake Forest is currently tied with Duke and Syracuse in fifth place in the conference standings with five games left in the regular season.

This week's ACC and USBWA National Player of the Week, Tyree Appleby, made clutch plays down the stretch against Georgia Tech while scoring the final four points for Wake Forest. Playing all 40 minutes for the eighth time this season, the graduate guard totaled 16 points and six assists against the Yellow Jackets.

Cameron Hildreth led the way with a game-high 19 points, going 9-of-12 from the free-throw line. Bobi Klintman had another spark performance as a reserve, posting 11 points and grabbing five rebounds. The freshman forward made two of his four tries from three-point distance.

Matthew Marsh was perfect from the floor for the fifth straight game, adding eight points (4-of-4 in field goals). Andrew Carr contributed nine points, five boards, and two steals. Earning the majority of its looks in the second half, Wake Forest went 19-of-24 at the charity stripe.

The No. 15 Hurricanes (21-5, 12-4) are coming off an 80-72 win over the North Carolina Tar Heels in Chapel Hill on Monday night (Feb. 13) and are currently on a five-game win streak. Jordan Miller and Nigel Pack led the way for Miami with 24 and 23 points, respectively. Miller also registered a game-high 11 rebounds. Miller leads the team in conference play with 15.4 points per game. Norchad Omier is fourth in the league with 9.56 rebounds per ACC contest. Miami has not dropped a game in the Watsco Center yet this season.
