12 Demon Deacons Garner Women’s Indoor Track & Field All-ACC Academic Team Honors, Setting New Program Record

Graduate student Anna Bush became the first three-time honoree in program history, while senior Emma Soderstrom earned honors for the second-straight season.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Highlighted by senior Emma Soderstrom's second-consecutive nod, 12 members of the Wake Forest women's indoor track & field team earned All-ACC Academic honors Tuesday afternoon, as announced by the league office.
With Tuesday's recognition, graduate student Anna Bush became the first Demon Deacon in program history to be named a three-time Indoor Track & Field All-ACC Academic Team honoree.
The Demon Deacons' record-breaking feat marked the first time since 2020 that three or more student-athletes garnered honors. Additionally, Tuesday marked the first-career nod for All-ACC standout junior Addison Berry.
The 12 Deacs to earn honors included graduate student Anna Bush (Education), junior Addison Berry (English), freshman Elizabeth Whaley (Undeclared), sophomore Laura Giudice (Undeclared), senior Caroline Garrett (Politics & International Affairs), graduate student Carolien Millenaar (Liberal Studies), graduate student Amanda Schaare (General Studies), sophomore Ashlyn Giles (Undeclared), senior Emma Soderstrom (Liberal Studies), senior Robbie Grace (Health & Exercise Science), graduate student Bianca Nolde-Lopez (Biomedical Engineering) and senior Katrina Andreassen (Communications).
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Indoor Track and Field Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career.
In addition, student-athletes must have competed in the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships and/or the NCAA Indoor Championships during the most recent season.
