  • Women's Soccer

    • Seeking the program's 23rd all-time NCAA Tournament appearance this season, the Wake Forest women's soccer team will face a pair of non-conference opponents (App State and Army) to open the 2023 campaign. The Deacs will face App State on Thursday (Aug. 17) at 7 p.m., before squaring off with last season's Patriot League runner-up Army on Sunday (Aug. 20) at 12 p.m. Both matches will take place at Spry Stadium and can be streamed on ACC Network Extra.

Additionally, the team notched 10 victories on its home floor – the most since 2014.

    • The Deacons are led by a veteran group of nine seniors this fall, along with returning sophomore libero Emma Farrell, the reigning ACC Freshman of the Year, and sophomore outside hitter Paige Crawford, who led Wake Forest in total kills a year ago en route to earning a spot on the ACC's All-Freshman Team.

  • Field Hockey
