Evan Beck Powers Through to the USGA Mid-Amateur Semifinals

Wake Forest Alumni Evan Beck advanced through the round of 16 and quarter finals
Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.- Earlier today, Wake Forest Alumni Evan Beck made it through the round of 16 and semifinals at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. The next step for Beck is going competing against Sam Jones in the quarter finals of the USGA Mid-Am.
The Wake Forest Alumni has been playing some of his best golf the past few days. On Monday Beck went three and two in the round of 64. Yesterday Beck went 3 and 1 in the round of 32.
During the morning round of 16 Beck went five and four, then this afternoon he solidified his spot in the semifinals going two and one. The Wake Forest Alumni is getting closer to putting his name on a short list of former Deacs that have won the tournament.
Former Wake Forest USGA Mid-Am Champions
Beck is set to tee off at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow against Sam Jones from New Zealand. If Beck can advance through the semifinals he will compete in the USGA Mid-Am Championship tomorrow afternoon.
