Women’s Basketball ACC Slate Set for 2023-24 Season

The Demon Deacons will open the season at home against Wofford on Monday, Nov. 6 with the conference home slate set to begin on Thursday, Jan. 4 against 2023 Final Four participant Virginia Tech.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - In conjunction with ESPN and ACC Network, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced the 2023-24 women's basketball conference schedule Tuesday night on ACC Network.
Highlighted by nine home games at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum, the ACC conference schedule is filled with exciting matchups in Winston-Salem.
Wake Forest will be challenged early in conference play as four of the first five games come against teams that made the NCAA Tournament including three against Elite Eight or Final Four teams.
The Deacs will tip off the 2023-24 conference season on New Year's Eve in Tallahassee, Fla. as they battle against Florida State who made the NCAA Tournament a season ago. The noon tip will be the first of six games during the conference season broadcasted on ACC Network.
The first home game of the season comes on Thursday, Jan. 4 when Wake Forest welcomes 2023 Final Four participant Virginia Tech for a 6:00 p.m. tipoff at LJVM Coliseum.
Wake Forest is coming off a historic first season under head coach Megan Gebbia that included a memorable three-day run at the ACC Tournament and a run to the second round of the WNIT.
