WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's basketball team is set to host the Louisville Cardinals in the midst of a 10-game home winning streak Saturday afternoon.

The Deacs and Cards will face off at Noon ET on Saturday (Jan. 20) inside Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum and the game will air live on ACC Network.

With the win over Virginia last weekend, Wake Forest is now 10-0 at home to start the 2023-24 season. The Deacs' 4-1 start in ACC play was also the best start since 2004-05. Wake Forest is currently 41-5 inside LJVM Coliseum since the start of the 2021-22 season. At the conclusion of non-conference play for this season, head coach Steve Forbes has never lost a non-ACC game inside LJVM Coliseum, and Wake Forest is 27-0 in LJVM against non-conference opponents dating back to December 2018.

Wake is coming off a road loss to NC State Tuesday night, the first Big Four matchup of the season for the Deacs. Andrew Carr erupted for a new career high in points, tallying 28 on a remarkable 10-of-13 shooting clip. The performance included a fourth showing of 20 or more points by the senior forward this season.

Kevin Miller recorded 21 points while dishing out four assists and grabbing three rebounds. The Chicago native went a stellar 15-of-15 from the free throw line, tied for the third-most makes without a miss in program history, along with Bryant Crawford against Duke in 2017.

Hunter Sallis chipped in 12 points and seven rebounds in 28 minutes of game action. Efton Reid III added seven points and seven rebounds.

The Deacons held NC State to zero made three pointers, marking the first time a Wake Forest team did so since Jan. 31, 2004, against Virginia.

Fans can follow along with the high-scoring Deacs on Saturday via the Demon Deacons Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts (@WakeMBB).

Ticket Information
Since the start of the 2021-22 season, Wake Forest is 41-5 inside LJVM. During that time, Wake Forest won 15-straight games inside Joel Coliseum, which was the longest home-win streak since the Deacs went 22-0 during the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons. Wake Forest was the first ACC school to reach 41 home wins during that time frame. With the Jan. 17, 2023, win over Clemson, Steve Forbes has defeated every ACC team at least once in less than three seasons.
