Sheedy and Kennon Lead Deacs in Day Two of the Southwestern Invitational

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. – The Wake Forest Men's Golf Team ended day two of play at the Southwestern Invitational in Malibu, Calif. with two players in the top-15.
The Demon Deacons wrap up the day at ninth, with a score of 283 (E), ahead of four teams including Pepperdine and USC.
Graduate student Daniel Sheedy had the lowest score of the day, 69 (-2). Joining Sheedy, Scotty Kennon closed the round strongly, tallying four birdies and finishing 1-under. Both players are tied at fifteen.
Michael Brennan finished the day in the top-30, scoring two back-to-back birdies in the front nine. Freshman Tom Haberer had a pivotal stretch between holes 6-8 as well, going eagle-birdie-birdie and ended the day even.
Round Three
Teams will tee off from holes 1 and 10 beginning at 8 a.m. tomorrow for their final round of the Southwestern Invitational.
