DEACTOWN Greensboro: Pregame Event Begins Exciting Day for Deacs-Wolverines Men’s Basketball Matchup on Nov. 10

Ahead of the Wake Forest men’s basketball game against Michigan on November 10, Deacon Nation is invited to a pregame event at Steel Hands Brewing Co. in Greensboro.
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Ahead of the seismic non-conference men's basketball matchup between Wake Forest and Michigan inside the First Horizon Coliseum on Nov. 10 that begins at 1 p.m., college basketball fans across the Triad and throughout the state of North Carolina are encouraged to come together for fellowship and community at Steel Hands Brewing Co. across from the arena.
This pregame event, which begins at 11 a.m. will feature the Wake Forest cheer and dance teams, the Deacon Mascot and the Spirit of the Old Gold and Black to create some pregame excitement ahead of this exciting contest. Additionally, there will be some unique giveaways for fans in attendance.
There is no RSVP or ticket purchase required for the event at Steel Hands. Tickets for this exciting matchup can be purchased through Ticketmaster here.
Wake Forest will be taking on Michigan for just the second time in program history, with the Deacs coming out on top in the first matchup, 71-60, in 2000.
"We are fired up to bring one of the biggest early-season matchups in the nation to the Triad on Sunday, Nov. 10 as Coach Forbes and his staff continue to build on the winningest three-year stretch of Wake Forest men's basketball in nearly two decades," director of athletics John Currie said. "With the Triad rating as the No. 7 ESPN market in the entire country, I know Tobacco Road basketball fans will create a great atmosphere inside the First Horizon Coliseum. Both Coach Forbes and Coach May have exciting teams, and we are proud to bring this game to the historic home of the ACC."
