Wake Forest Finishes Second Round of Moon Invitational Despite Weather Delay

MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Wake Forest women's golf team battled rain all day and hit an hour delay after the first three holes of play but finished the second round of the Moon Golf Invitational Monday afternoon.
Graduate Rachel Kuehn was the low Deac of the day, finishing even par. Sophomore Anne-Sterre den Dunnen was the only other Demon Deacon to record multiple birdies in the round, despite finishing three over for the day. Freshman Brooke Rivers dropped one in on the par-four sixth hole before finishing the day six over. Freshman Macy Pate finished her second round seven over.
Senior Mimi Rhodes withdrew from the second round due to neck stiffness from an injury.
The third and final round will resume Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. Wake Forest will be a part of an all-ACC playing group, with Florida State, Louisville and Clemson, off tees8-11. Live scoring will be available all day Tuesday.
