As a part of the resurgence of Demon Deacons basketball since head coach Steve Forbes took over the program four seasons ago, Saturday’s Wake Forest - Duke men’s hoops game is the first Lawrence Joel Coliseum sell-out crowd since Jan. 28, 2017.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – As two of the top men's basketball teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference tip-off on Saturday at 2 p.m. inside Lawrence Joel Coliseum when the Demon Deacons hosts No. 8 Duke, Wake Forest Athletics announced today that the contest is sold out! Additionally, the first 10,000 fans in attendance on Saturday will receive a Tie-Dye t-shirt thanks to the generosity of Mit Shah ('91) and the Shah Family Foundation.
Demon Deacon fans are encouraged to check their email prior to arrival for specific t-shirt distribution information, which will include a shirt for each Demon Deacon fan seated in the lower bowl and until supplies last in upper bowl sections.
Fans are also encouraged to arrive early. With that, ticket holders can park in their assigned lots if they have already received them from the Wake Forest Ticket Office, or, general admission parking is available in Starry, Diet Pepsi, & Allegacy Stadium lots on a first-come, first-serve basis for $20.

Saturday's sellout marks Wake Forest's first sellout of the year and first since Jan. 28, 2017. Joel Coliseum's 14,744 capacity is the fourth largest in the ACC, trailing only Syracuse, North Carolina and NC State.
For those unable to attend, the game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
The Deacs (17-9, 9-6) are coming off a 91-58 home win over Pitt that occurred earlier this week (Feb. 20), extending their untouched home record to 14-0 this season, the best home record since a 16-game streak from 2007-2008.
With the 33-point win margin against the Panthers, the Demon Deacons had one of the largest margins of victory over an ACC team in LJVM Coliseum history:

During that time, Wake Forest won 15-straight games on its floor, which was the longest home-win streak since the Deacs went 16-0 from 2007-2008. With the Jan. 17, 2023, win over Clemson, head coach Steve Forbes has defeated every ACC team at least once in less than three seasons.
