Exciting Matchups at LJVM Coliseum Await: ACC Announces Women’s Basketball Schedule Model for 2024-25 & 2025-26

Wake Forest's primary partner for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons will be NC State. Additionally, the Demon Deacons will play a home-and-home with each other ACC institution over the two-year span.
CHARLOTTE – While the Demon Deacons are in the midst of the 2023-24 season and on a two-game winning streak, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Thursday a new women's basketball scheduling model that will go into effect beginning with the 2024-25 season.
The new schedule will eliminate the pod system and introduce one home-and-home series a year against a permanent opponent in addition to having one game against the remaining 16 teams in the conference, alternating home and away each season.
Wake Forest's permanent home-and-home series comes against in-state NC State for each of the upcoming two seasons.
The additions of Cal, SMU and Stanford will all visit Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum next season with return trips scheduled for the 2025-26 season.
The league also recently announced that the ACC Women's Basketball Tournament will split time between Charlotte and Greensboro, as the women's tournament will tip off in the Greensboro Coliseum in 2024 and 2025. In 2027, the longest-running DI conference women's basketball tournament in the country will be held at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.
Additional information including dates, times and broadcast networks will be released at a later date.
