Deacs Set to Visit Georgia Tech in Tuesday Tilt

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The second portion of Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) games has arrived for Wake Forest men's basketball, as 10 regular-season games remain on the Demon Deacons' schedule.
The team will travel to Georgia Tech (10-12, 3-8) next for a Tuesday evening (Feb. 6) matchup. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET and the contest will be televised on ESPNU.
The Deacs stand at 14-7 overall on the year, holding a 6-4 mark in conference play.
Wake Forest is coming off an emphatic home victory over Syracuse this past Saturday (Feb. 3), having picked up a 99-70 win over the Orange. The team's 99 points marked the second-most in the Steve Forbes era against an ACC opponent, including the most since 101 against NC State on March 2, 2022.
Hunter Sallis led the way offensively with 24 points, tying a career high and extending his streak of 21 games with double-digit points. The junior added his seventh season performance of 20 or more points to go along with five assists and three rebounds.
Kevin Miller joined Sallis with his seventh performance of 20 points or more in the 2023-24 campaign, dropping 14 of his 21 in the final 20 minutes of play. Also in double-figures for Wake Forest were Andrew Carr with 16 points, in addition to Cameron Hildreth with 13 points and a career-high 12 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.
Efton Reid III contributed eight points and eight rebounds in 25 minutes of court time. Sharpshooters Parker Friedrichsen and Damari Monsanto swished in a pair of three-pointers apiece.
The Deacs were scalding hot in their collective shooting, posting clips of 66.0 field goal percentage and 63.2 in three-point percentage.
