Wake Forest Baseball to Host Epilepsy Awareness Game on April 20 to Benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Pennsylvania and Ryan Lloyd Foundation

The Demon Deacons will don lavender jerseys when they hit the diamond on Saturday, April 20 against Florida State. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on the special-edition, game-worn jerseys through our website until 11:59 p.m. on the night of the game with all proceeds benefiting the Epilepsy Alliance of Pennsylvania and Ryan Lloyd Foundation.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest baseball team will host an Epilepsy Awareness Game inside David F. Couch Ballpark on Saturday, April 20 against Florida State, benefiting the Epilepsy Alliance of Pennsylvania and Ryan Lloyd Foundation.
"It's a special night for our program with a lot of ties to our program for a wonderful cause," said head coach Tom Walter. "Ryan Lloyd, one of our former players, who lost his battle with epilepsy a year ago. Rhett Lowder and his family have a connection to our cause. Nick Kurtz and his family friend who has been battling epilepsy, all resonate with our program. It's a big day for our Deacon family to come together and make a difference for a great cause."

Fans will have the opportunity to bid on the special-edition, game-worn jerseys through GoDeacs.com until 11:59 p.m. on the night of the game. The starting bid for each jersey is $200.
