Deacs In Contention for Match Play After Round Two of ACC Championship

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- With 18 holes remaining in stroke play, the Wake Forest men's golf team finished round two of the ACC Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The Deacs finished the second round of stroke play in fifth place with a score of 563 (-5). Wake Forest sits at 5-under-par.
Senior Michael Brennan finished round two in the top-five and is tied for fifth. Brennan ended the day even with a 71.
Going into the final round, Brennan is only three strokes out for the individual lead and is 5-under-par.
If he were to win the individual title, he would then tie Curtis Strange in having eight individual titles at Wake Forest. Brennan also claimed the Individual Champion title last year at the 2023 ACC Championship, becoming the 23rd player in program history to win the conference individual crown.
Round Three Tee Times
For the final round of stroke play, the Demon Deacons will tee off Sunday with No. 25 Duke and No. 13 Virginia, with the first tee time set for 8:00 a.m. off No. 1.
