ACC Champion Kuehn Named ACC Women’s Golfer of the Month

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wake Forest graduate and women's golfer Rachel Kuehn has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Golfer of the Month for April, as announced by the league office Wednesday.
Kuehn is fresh off her first individual title of the year, and arguably her best individual title of the seven she has amassed in her collegiate career, winning the individual ACC Championship by three strokes with a 10-under score of 206 over the three-day stroke play portion of the championship.
En route to the team shooting 10-under-par on the final day and 23-under for the stroke play portion, Kuehn's 10-under score for the week included two eagles in her final two rounds and three birdies over her final four holes in the second and third rounds.
After shooting even par on the opening day, back-to-back rounds of five-under on the second and third days catapulted Kuehn up the leaderboard. Her 10-under score earned her her seventh career title and first postseason individual title.

Wake Forest will be one of six host sites for the 2024 NCAA Regionals in two weeks at Bermuda Run Country Club, May 6-8. The official NCAA women's golf selection show will be April 24 at 2 p.m. on Golf Channel.
In each regional, 12 teams and six individuals not on those teams will compete. The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the finals. Beginning in 2024, regional champion awards will be given to the team champions.
