
Kuehn Named Finalist for ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel

COLUMBUS, Ga. - Wake Forest graduate student and women's golfer Rachel Kuehn has been named a finalist for the ANNIKA Award, presented by Stifel, as announced by the organization Friday.
The ANNIKA Award is presented annually to the top Division I women's golfer. Kuehn was also named a finalist for the award in May 2022 and May 2023. The winner will be announced on Golf Channel on Tuesday, May 21st, and will receive an exemption into the 2024 Amundi Evian Championship.
In her final collegiate season, Kuehn is peaking at the right time, winning the ACC individual title with a 10-under score of 206 in April. She followed that up with a 12-under score of 204 to be the co-champion of the Winston-Salem Regional and help the Deacs punch their ticket to the NCAA Championship for the sixth consecutive season.
With the ACC and Regional titles, Kuehn now has eight individual victories as a Demon Deacon, third-most in program history.
Wake Forest Individual Titles
In April, Kuehn joined her mother Brenda Corrie-Kuehn as an ACC Women's Golf Individual Champion, becoming the first-known mother-daughter duo to do so in ACC history. Corrie-Kuehn was an All-American at Wake Forest, is in the Wake Forest Sports Hall of Fame, and was the ACC Women's Golf Individual Champion in 1986.

Wake Forest is coming off a third place finish at the NCAA Winston-Salem Regional and will play in the National Championship May 17-22 in Carlsbad, California.
