It marks the second-consecutive season that Wake Forest placed at least 20 on the All-ACC Academic Team.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Setting a program record for the second-straight year, 21 members of the Wake Forest men's and women's outdoor track & field teams earned All-ACC Academic honors Friday morning, as announced by the league office.
Of the record-breaking 10 All-ACC Academic selections on the men's side, five made their second-consecutive appearance on the list, including Dillon Aryeh, Gavin Ehlers, Jacob Goldberg, Connor Mathis and Paul Specht.
Additionally, three Demon Deacons that were named All-Americans earlier this month doubled as All-ACC Academic team selections with Robbie Grace (women's long jump), Rynard Swanepoel (men's 800m) and Rocky Hansen (men's 5000m) accomplishing the feat.
Grace was one of eight members of the women's team to garner All-ACC Academic honors for the second-consecutive year, joining Addison Berry, Caroline Garrett, Ashlyn Giles, Madeline Rehm, Amanda Schaare and Elizabeth Whaley.
First-time selections on both sides include Leia Braunagel, Megan Cook, Isabella Gera, Meghan O'Malley, Jack Balick, Rocky Hansen, Thomas Kitchell, Charles Sprott and Rynard Swanepoel.
