Teren Hart comes to Wake Forest following a stint working at Miami over the past three seasons.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest women's basketball and head coach Megan Gebbia announced the addition of Teren Hart as the Video Coordinator and Recruit Experience on Monday.
In his role, he will be responsible for all digital archiving and filming of practice and game day video while also serving as a key member of game planning and recruiting. Additionally, this role will also include on-campus recruiting responsibilities.
"We are excited to have Teren join our Wake Forest family," Gebbia said. "He has a lot of experience working at a high level of women's basketball and has tremendous knowledge of the ACC and what it takes to win at a high level. He will help us continue to build a strong culture and also help provide our student-athletes with more materials to be successful on and off the court. With his wide array of skills, Teren will also help us continue to improve our on-campus recruiting experience as we look to showcase all that Wake Forest University offers."
Hart comes to Wake Forest after a three-year stint at the University of Miami where he worked with the women's basketball programs in multiple roles. He arrived at Miami in 2021, taking on the role of creative content specialist. In September 2023, Hart was elevated to Assistant Director of Operations / Analytics & Player Development.
As an undergraduate, Hart served as a practice player for the women's basketball program in 2018.
Additionally from 2015-18, Hart served as a ticket representative in the Miami athletic department, assisting in the day-to-day logistical operations of the ticket office. He worked with customers to ensure a smooth experience on gameday and helped train new student employees on ticket software and equipment.
Upon earning his Bachelor of Science in Education in May of 2018, Hart served as the head coach for the freshman basketball team at La Salle High School in Pasadena, Calif. He also coached the Pressure Basketball Club in Los Angeles, working with elementary, middle and high school AAU travel basketball teams.
Hart's professional basketball experience comes from his time as a SportsVU operator with the Miami Heat. There, Hart monitored statistical data provided by SportsVU and worked to find and correct mistakes made by the software during the game.
