Wake Forest Athletics Welcomes New Football and Baseball Public Address Announcers for 2024-25 Academic Year

The role of a public address announcer at an event includes the introduction of starting lineups, in-game action and other in-venue announcements as needed.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest Athletics welcomed over 470,000 fans and nearly 50,000 students at its 147 events during the 2023-24 academic year as the Deacs won countless games and created memorable moments for the Wake Forest, Winston-Salem and Triad Community as those capacity crowds enjoyed the Best Fan Experience in North Carolina.
Through a search process this past spring and summer, Wake Forest Athletics has selected multiple new public address announcers for its home events this upcoming academic year and moving forward.

Official 2024 Wake Forest Team Shirt
Purchase the official shirt of the 2024 Wake Forest football season! In collaboration with campus and our football program, Wake Forest Athletics has developed the third-ever season t-shirt for purchase.
The mantra of the 2024 football team is Earn It.
Wearing the Old Gold and Black means holding oneself to the highest of standards in all aspects of life and inspiring others to walk with us. Our actions do the talking, and our values are reflected in everything we do. To Walk The Walk is a universal language among all Deacs and a lifelong commitment to travel an uncommon path paved with hard work, character, loyalty and selflessness. - Steve Fisher has over 30 years of experience calling games as a public address announcer at the collegiate and professional level. He has worked with Harlem Globetrotters, Western Carolina University, Hickory Crawdads, Hickory Motor Speedway and Tri-County Motor Speedway.

- Tom Parker
- Tom Parker, a Kernersville native, has been a part of the Triad sports community for nearly three decades, working public address for the High Point Rockers, High Point University and SW Guilford High School. Parker also served as the internal public address announcer at Wake Forest home football games from 2007-2018.
