The honor marks the second time in three weeks that Mora has made Ray’s 8 to open the season.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Redshirt senior Ivan Mora was named to the Ray Guy Award "Ray's 8" list following his week three performance against Ole Miss.
Already named to the Ray Guy Award Preseason Watchlist and Week 1 Ray's 8, Mora is having the best punting season of his career, averaging 47.4 yards per punt including five punts of 50+ yards. His 42.0 career average ranks fifth in program history.
Mora pinned the Rebels deep with three punts inside the 20 on Saturday, including a 50-yard boot with no return on a perfectly executed coverage by Deuce Alexander.
