WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Fans can now purchase single-game tickets for the upcoming 2025 baseball season with 33 chances to see the No. 14 Demon Deacons inside David F. Couch Ballpark.
The Deacs will look for their fourth-straight NCAA Regional appearance in 2025, the longest streak since making five-straight regionals from 1998-2002.
Deacon Nation set the tone throughout the 2024 season with eight sellouts and nine of the top-10 regular season crowds in program history coming a season ago. Total attendance at The Couch rose 72 percent in 2024 with 76,888 fans helping set a new season total attendance record.
With today's fan-friendly announcement, spring plans can come to the forefront as multiple sellout crowds are expected to impact the home-field advantage at David F. Couch Ballpark, as the Demon Deacons are an astounding 80-17-1 at The Couch over the last three seasons.
On the bump, the Deacs return 195.0 innings pitched (37.2 percent), led by rising sophomores Josh Gunther, Haiden Leffew, Blake Morningstar and Cam Nelson's 101.3 combined innings as freshmen.
Wake Forest added a trio of ACC transfer arms with the additions of Matt Bedford, Griffin Green and Luke Schmolke, while adding a pair of SEC hurlers in Matthew Dallas and Logan Lunceford.
Additionally, the Deacs added a flame-throwing righty in Nate Brittain from Campbell, who has been clocked up to 100 mph, while bringing in a pair of top 100 freshmen in Chris Levonas (No. 44) and Duncan Marsten (No. 63) according to Perfect Game.
At the plate, Wake Forest brings back 921 at-bats (45.1 percent), led by Marek Houston and Jack Winnay's 243 combined ABs.
The Deacs also bring in 821 collegiate at-bats from a season ago in transfers Ethan Conrad (226), Jimmy Keenan (218), Kade Lewis (207) and Matt Scannell (170).
Conrad joins the Deacs from Marist where he hit .335 with 45 extra-base hits as a sophomore and took home the 2024 Summer Breaker Prospect for his performance in the Cape Cod League by D1 Baseball.
Keenan and Lewis were both named All-Big EAST selections, while Lewis was also named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Year for his standout season at Butler. Scannell joins Wake Forest after a standout career at Princeton, where he was a three-time All-Ivy League selection.
The 2024 Wake Forest freshman class ranks 11th overall according to Perfect Game, marking the highest-ranked first-year class in program history for the Demon Deacons.
