Demon Deacons Unveil 2025 Spring Schedule

The 2024 ACC Champions return to the pitch for a five-match slate during the spring including hosting the Spring Soccer Cup finals.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Returning to action following the program's fourth ACC Championship and an Elite Eight appearance, Wake Forest men's soccer has announced the program's five-match schedule for the spring that concludes with the annual Spring Soccer Cup finals at Spry Stadium.
Wake Forest will open the spring on Saturday, Feb. 22, taking on the Carolina Core of MLS Next Pro at Truist Point Stadium in High Point. The match is set to kick-off at 5 p.m. and tickets for the match are available for purchase here with a portion of proceeds benefiting Goal 13.
The Demon Deacons will then turn their attention to Spring Soccer Cup league play, first facing Virginia Tech at Spry on Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. The Hokies spent five weeks in the top-25 of the United Soccer Coaches poll during the 2024 campaign, climbing as high as No. 13.
The second league match will pit the 2024 ACC Champions against the 2024 Sun Belt Champions, as the Deacs will travel to Morgantown WVa., to take on West Virginia on Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. Last season, the Mountaineers claimed both the Sun Belt regular season and tournament titles, finishing the campaign with a 13-2-7 record.
League play will conclude the following weekend when Wake Forest takes on Virginia on Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. from Klöckner Stadium. The Cavaliers earned a top-16 national seed in the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season in 2024 and advanced to the semifinals of the ACC Tournament where the Demon Deacons scored a 5-1 victory.
Wake Forest University and Spry Stadium will then once again serve as the host site of the 2025 Spring Soccer Cup finals, set to take place on Sunday, April 13 with five matches starting at 12 noon.
Tickets for the event are available for purchase here. All seating is general admission. Seating on the Walt Chyzowych Alumni Hill is free. Children three and under do not need a ticket to enter if sitting on a lap; if their own seat is needed a ticket should be purchased.
Along with the reigning ACC Champions Wake Forest and Sun Belt Champions West Virginia, North Carolina, Duke, NC State, Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Pitt and VCU will compete in the Spring Soccer Cup.
