- Women's Basketball:
- The week for the Wake Forest women's basketball team was highlighted by a pair of new career-high scoring performances from senior Raegyn Conley and sophomore Rylie Theuerkauf while also having a thrilling overtime game against Louisville to close the weekend.
- On Thursday in a loss at Virginia, the Deacs were led by a career-high effort from senior guard Raegyn Conley as she finished the night with 17 points on 6-of-17 shooting including a career-best four threes made in the game.
- Conley was crucial for the Demon Deacons in the first half, scoring a team-high 11 in the first 20 minutes including three triples. This helped the Deacs keep the game close at halftime as they were only trailing by two points coming out of the locker room.
- On Sunday in an overtime loss against Louisville, the Demon Deacons were led by a career-high scoring performance from sophomore guard Rylie Theuerkauf who finished the night with 17 points. The Tenafly, N.J. native started the game a perfect 5-of-5 from the field including a perfect 4-for-4 from three.
- Theuerkauf ended the game shooting 6-of-9 from the field and hit a career-best five threes on eight attempts. This included the game-tying three with 11 seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime.
- Wake Forest assisted on 21 of its 27 made baskets (78 percent) against Louisville. 21 assists marks the most this season by the Deacs and most against an ACC opponent since Jan. 19, 2017 in an 80-77 victory over North Carolina. It was the third time this season Wake Forest logged at least 20 assists, with the first two coming against Winthrop and Gardner-Webb (both 20).

- The Wake Forest women's basketball is set to travel for both games this week as it looks for the first conference win of the season.
- Thursday, the Deacs will take on No. 3 Notre Dame with tipoff scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on ACC Network Extra in South Bend, Ind.
- Sunday, the Demon Deacons will make the short trip to Blacksburg, Va. as they take on Virginia Tech for a 2:00 p.m. tipoff on ACC Network Extra.

- Women's Tennis:
- The Wake Forest women's team returned to campus this past weekend to start preparations for their upcoming season.
- The Demon Deacons will open their 2025 season with a double-header at home next Saturday (Jan. 18) against No. 18 Tennessee at 10 a.m., and East Carolina starting at 5 p.m.
- The Deacs will also host East Tennessee State on Monday, January 20, to close out their opening weekend.
- Women's Soccer:
- Caiya Hanks, on the back of a record-breaking junior campaign that helped the Deacs reach the National Championship for the first time in program history, recently traveled to St. Louis as one of three finalists for the MAC Hermann Trophy.
- Her first-half strike against USC in the quarterfinals was her 11th goal of the season, which moved her into sole position of third in Wake Forest history with 33 total points and finished the season behind only Katie Stengel's 2010 (37) and 2011 (46) seasons.
- She then recorded her 11th assist of the season in the semifinals, which broke Elizabeth Remy's (2005) record for the most ever as a Demon Deacon in a single season.
- With her assist in the second round of the tournament, she became just the sixth player at the D1 level this season to reach 10 goals and 10 assists, and third to do so in program history, joining Anne Shropshire (1998) and Kaley Fountain (2009).
- Hanks was also tabbed second in TopDrawerSoccer's Top 100 Players of the 2024 season.
- In addition to Hanks, Emily Colton took up the No. 10 spot on the list, followed by Zara Chavoshi (No. 20) and Laurel Ansbrow (No. 70).
