Wake Forest ACC Network Takeover Set for Tuesday, July 14

This year’s ACC Network takeover featuring the Demon Deacons includes exciting wins by football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, baseball, field hockey, men’s soccer, women’s soccer and volleyball.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest Athletics is set for a full day of its ACC Network takeover on Tuesday, July 14, as a number of memorable matchups from the Demon Deacons' 2025-26 school year will re-air throughout the entirety of the day.
Below is the slate of games set for the Deacs' annual takeover:
12 a.m. – Women's Basketball vs. Georgia Tech (from Dec. 14, 2025)
2 a.m. – Baseball vs. Coastal Carolina (from April 14, 2026)
5 a.m. – Field Hockey vs. North Carolina (from Sept. 26, 2025)
7 a.m. – Men's Soccer vs. Notre Dame (from Oct. 31, 2025)
9 a.m. – Football vs. SMU (from Oct. 25, 2025)
12 p.m. – Women's Soccer vs. Miami (from Sept. 10, 2025)
2 p.m. – Baseball vs. NC State (from April 17, 2026)
5 p.m. – Volleyball vs. NC State (from Oct. 8, 2025)
7 p.m. – Football vs. Mississippi State in the 2026 Duke's Mayo Bowl (from Jan. 2, 2026)
10 p.m. – Men's Basketball vs. Virginia Tech in the 2026 ACC Tournament (from March 10, 2026)

12 a.m. – Women's Basketball vs. Georgia Tech (from Dec. 14, 2025)
- The Demon Deacons secured their ACC opener in thrilling fashion, holding off the Yellow Jackets in a 57-56 home victory behind Aurora Sørbye's 14 points.
2 a.m. – Baseball vs. Coastal Carolina (from April 14, 2026)
- Hosting the No. 7 Chanticleers in a third meeting on the season, the Wake Forest offense racked up 15 hits and five homers en route to a 10-5 upset win as head coach Tom Walter earned his 950th career victory.
5 a.m. – Field Hockey vs. North Carolina (from Sept. 26, 2025)
- In the midst of their historic 15-game win streak, the No. 13 Deacs pushed the No. 2 Tar Heels to double overtime before Mia Montag set up ACC Offensive Player of the Year Mia Schoenbeck for the game winner in a 2-1 victory.
7 a.m. – Men's Soccer vs. Notre Dame (from Oct. 31, 2025)
- Wake Forest closed its regular season on a dominant note during Senior & Graduates Day, defeating the Fighting Irish, 3-0, in front of a packed crowd at Spry Stadium with goals from Vlad Walent, Cooper Flax and Jeffrey White.
9 a.m. – Football vs. SMU (from Oct. 25, 2025)
- Fans were treated to an instant classic inside Allegacy Stadium during homecoming weekend, as the Deacs made a remarkable come-from-behind effort to knock off SMU, 13-12, headlined by a stellar defensive effort and a 50-yard field goal by Connor Calvert with time expiring on the clock.
12 p.m. – Women's Soccer vs. Miami (from Sept. 10, 2025)
- Wake Forest kicked off a three-match win streak with a 3-1 decision over the Hurricanes at home, featuring the first multi-goal performance of Lola Ressler's young career.
2 p.m. – Baseball vs. NC State (from April 17, 2026)
- The Deacs opened their first Big Four series with an absolute offensive explosion, rolling past the Wolfpack in a 22-1 run-rule showing while matching the largest margin of victory versus NC State within program history.
5 p.m. – Volleyball vs. NC State (from Oct. 8, 2025)
- Led by its core of hitters, Wake Forest defeated NC State for the first time since the 2022 season, doing so in a 3-0 home sweep while three players tallied double-digit kills.
7 p.m. – Football vs. Mississippi State in the 2026 Duke's Mayo Bowl (from Jan. 2, 2026)
- As the Deacs prepare for Year Two of the Jake Dickert era, tune in for a rewind of the program's third-straight bowl game victory that capped the greatest debut season by a head coach in Wake Forest football history.
10 p.m. – Men's Basketball vs. Virginia Tech in the 2026 ACC Tournament (from March 10, 2026)
- The day concludes with the Demon Deacons' 95-89 overtime win over Virginia Tech inside the Spectrum Center, an effort that involved seven players reaching double figures in scoring for just the second time in ACC Tournament history.
