No. 5 Wake Forest Set for Fall Finale at the Landfall Tradition

The Deacs have a combined seven team and individual titles at the tournament.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 5-ranked Wake Forest women's golf team will wrap its fall schedule this upcoming weekend at the Landfall Tradition at C.C. of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C., from Oct. 24-26.
The Demon Deacons enter the weekend ranked No. 5 on Scoreboard, with sophomore Chloe Kovelesky and junior Macy Pate both inside the top 15 on the individual leaderboard.
Friday marks Wake Forest's 17th appearance at the Landfall, with its most recent participation in 2022 and first in 2002. The Deacs have totaled three team titles and four individual titles in their time at the tournament. Their last team title was won in 2014, while Jennifer Kupcho secured the last individual title in 2016.

Last Time Out
The top-ranked Demon Deacons completed tournament play in ninth place at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational at Finley G.C. in Chapel Hill, N.C. Wake Forest was one of eight other teams to record an eagle during the tournament, and carded a combined 40 birdies, tied fifth amongst the field. Additionally, the Deacs ranked fourth on par five scoring and ninth on par fours. At three over par, graduate student Morgan Ketchum shot the low score of the competition for the Deacs and grabbed her second top 10 finish of the season with 10 total birdies, the fifth most of the competition.
