The junior scored nine points with three goals and an assist last weekend.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – After another dominant offensive performance, junior midfielder Mia Schoenbeck has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Schoenbeck powered the No. 6 Demon Deacons to a pair of victories, scoring a hat trick against No. 8 Duke and adding an assist in Sunday's win over App State. Her three-goal outing marked her second hat trick of the season and helped Wake Forest secure its sixth ranked win of the year.

The junior from LaGrange, Ky., has been one of the most consistent and dangerous scorers in the country this fall. She currently ranks second in the nation and leads the country with 21 goals and has contributed to the points column in all but three matches during the Deacs 15-game winning streak.

Behind Schoenbeck's offensive spark, Wake Forest extended its winning streak to 15 consecutive games, its longest since 2005.

"Mia has been phenomenal in how she approaches every match. Her consistency, work rate, and confidence in the circle are driving our attack," said head coach Jennifer Averill. "She's grown tremendously this season, and her impact continues to elevate the group around her."

Schoenbeck becomes the latest Demon Deacon to earn weekly conference recognition this season, continuing a trend of individual excellence fueling one of the nation's hottest programs.

She and the rest of the Demon Deacons are in search of their first outright ACC Regular Season Title since the 2005 season, taking on No. 4 Virginia on Friday, Nov. 1 at 5 p.m. ET in Charlottesville, Va.
