- Field Hockey:
- The No. 6 Wake Forest field hockey team was selected to the 2025 NCAA Division I Field Hockey Tournament, as announced on NCAA.com on Sunday night.
- This is the Demon Deacons' 19th all-time NCAA Tournament appearance and their first since the 2022 season. Overall, the Demon Deacons have won 31 matches at the national tournament.
- The Demon Deacons won three-straight NCAA titles in 2002-04, while finishing as the runner-up in 2006 and 2008. The 2002 title marked the first national championship by a women's athletic program at Wake Forest.
- Wake Forest (15-4) will travel to Cambridge, Mass. to take on UConn (11-8) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, Nov. 14 at 2:30 p.m. ET.
- In the other first-round game, host Harvard (17-1), the overall No. 3 seed in the tournament, will face New Hampshire (12-6) on Friday. The winners of the first round matches will meet on Sunday, Nov. 16 at Noon.
- Sunday's quarterfinal winner will advance to the NCAA semifinals, which will take place Nov. 21 at noon and 2:30 p.m. at Duke's Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium. The national championship game will be held on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m.
- The No. 6 Wake Forest field hockey team was selected to the 2025 NCAA Division I Field Hockey Tournament, as announced on NCAA.com on Sunday night.
- Women's Basketball:
- The Wake Forest women's basketball team is off to its best start since the 2021-22 season, going a perfect 3-0 during the opening week of the season.
- Monday, the Demon Deacons were led to a 71-64 Opening Night win over Radford by a freshman double-double performance from Milan Brown.
- It was the first freshman Deac to achieve a double-double in the Gebbia era and the first known Deac to do so in this century in her rookie debut.
- Thursday, the Deacs claimed their largest win since 2024 Opening Night, defeating Presbyterian by 37 points, 78-41.
- Brown led the Demon Deacons with 14 points and went 7-for-12 from the field.
- This marked the first freshman with back-to-back double-digit scoring games since Madisyn Jordan on Nov. 18 against BYU and Nov. 20 against Saint Louis in 2023.
- All 12 Demon Deacons scored and pulled down at least one rebound while nine players had at least one assist in the win.
- Brown led the Demon Deacons with 14 points and went 7-for-12 from the field.
- Sunday, Wake Forest finished out the week strong with a 77-48 win against Hampton.
- The Demon Deacons had another excellent game in the paint, with 56 points posted inside while allowing the Pirates to score just eight points in the paint, a 48-point differential.

- Women's Soccer:
- For the fourth time in the last five seasons, the Wake Forest women's soccer team has been selected to the 2025 NCAA Tournament as a No. 7 seed. The Demon Deacons will host South Carolina in the first round on Friday, Nov. 14 at Spry Stadium.
- This will be the second NCAA tournament meeting with South Carolina in the last four years, with the Demon Deacons falling to the Gamecocks on the road in the first round in 2022.
- The other seeded teams in Wake Forest's part of the bracket are No. 2 Michigan State, No. 3 Colorado and No. 6 Xavier. The highest-seeded team will host the second and third rounds.
- The Deacs will be making their 24th all-time appearance in the tournament, with 23 coming under the helm of head coach Tony da Luz. Of note, Wake Forest had its most successful NCAA run a year ago as it made its first national championship appearance in its second-ever trip to the College Cup (2011, 2024).
- For the fourth time in the last five seasons, the Wake Forest women's soccer team has been selected to the 2025 NCAA Tournament as a No. 7 seed. The Demon Deacons will host South Carolina in the first round on Friday, Nov. 14 at Spry Stadium.
- Volleyball:
- Wake Forest prepares for a two-week road tilt, beginning with road matchups at Syracuse and Boston College this weekend.
- The Demon Deacons will visit the Orange on Friday evening in a 6 p.m. first serve. Sunday afternoon is set to feature a 1 p.m. contest between the Deacs and Eagles.
- The Deacs recently earned a home victory over Notre Dame this past Friday before facing then-No. 7 Louisville in front of a season-best record attendance inside Varsity Arena (837) on Sunday.
- Sophomore setter Becca Bellows reached 1,000 career assists during the Louisville matchup.
- Wake Forest prepares for a two-week road tilt, beginning with road matchups at Syracuse and Boston College this weekend.
- Cross Country:
- The Demon Deacons are set to compete in the NCAA Cross Country Southeast Regional this Friday in Earlysville, Va. at Panorama Farms.
- The women's team will run in the 6k championship race, which is slated for 10 a.m.
- During last season's regional meet, the Demon Deacons closed out their season with a fourth place finish, highlighted by Angelina Perez, Brooke Wilson, and Angelina Perez earning All-Region honors.
- The Demon Deacons are set to compete in the NCAA Cross Country Southeast Regional this Friday in Earlysville, Va. at Panorama Farms.
- Track and Field:
- Director of Track and Field and Cross Country John Hayes officially announced their 2025-26 indoor and outdoor track and field schedule last Friday.
- This year's slate features 27 meets spread across the indoor and outdoor seasons, including the fourth annual Wake Forest Invitational, which will be hosted at Kentner Stadium on April 16-17.
- The schedule also includes seven meets at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem during the indoor season.
- The Demon Deacons will open competition on December 4 at the Liberty Kickoff meet in Lynchburg, Va.
- This year's slate features 27 meets spread across the indoor and outdoor seasons, including the fourth annual Wake Forest Invitational, which will be hosted at Kentner Stadium on April 16-17.
