Why Wake Forest
"I chose Wake Forest because it feels like the perfect fit for me both on and off the court. Being from Belmont, North Carolina, it's close enough to home that I can maintain my strong relationship with my family. When I visited the campus, I immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. I really connected with the coaching staff and players, and I believe their playing style matches my strengths. Wake Forest is a place where I can continue to grow, not just physically and athletically, but also academically and personally." - Oshauna Holland

From Coach Gebbia
"Oshauna is a gifted basketball player that is a great fit not only for our program but also for Wake Forest University. She has been a tremendous leader throughout her career at Stuart Cramer and while playing with the CP3 Flames in AAU. It has been great getting to build a relationship with Oshauna and her family over the course of her recruitment and continue to watch her grow both on and off the court. As a basketball player, she is a true three-level scorer with a chance to have over 3,000 career points in high school by the end of this season. Oshauna also handles the ball well and is a great distributor as a point guard. You can also see that she plays her best in the biggest moments, leading her team to the State Championship game here at LJVM Coliseum and scoring 39 points in the title game. My staff and I are excited to get her here on campus as she will be a key piece of our future as soon as she gets to Wake Forest." - Megan Gebbia
