Wake Forest Sets Standard with Most All-ACC Academic in Program History

The 35 Demon Deacon honorees are the third-most in the conference and the 64 honors over the past two seasons are the most for a two-year stretch in program history.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest football team had 35 student-athletes named to the All-ACC Academic, as announced by the league office Friday.
 
The 35 Demon Deacon honorees are the third-most in the conference and the 64 honors over the past two seasons are the most for a two-year stretch in program history:
 
1. Duke - 40
2. Stanford - 38
3. Wake Forest - 35
4. Clemson - 31
5. Florida State - 30
 
Additionally, This is the eighth-consecutive year the Demon Deacons have had four or more members on the All-Academic team and the fifth consecutive season five players garnered honors.
 
The Wake Forest honorees include 11 Demon Deacons who have been named to the team while seven Deacs were three-time honorees including five-time All-ACC Academic Team member Taylor Morin. He was the only player in the conference to be named to the team for the fifth-consecutive season.
 
Morin was also honored with the Jim Tatum Award as the top senior student-athlete among the league's football players. He became the sixth Demon Deacon to win the award and first since Zach Tom won it in 2021.
