2025 Wake Forest Field Hockey Spring Schedule Announced

Wake Forest will play host to both North Carolina and JMU during the spring.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest field hockey program and head coach Jen Averill have announced their 2025 spring schedule consisting of three away matches, two home contests, and the team's annual Spikeball fundraiser and alumni weekend.

The Demon Deacons open the spring on Saturday, Mar. 1 at Davidson with the first touch set for Noon.

Wake Forest stays on the road to take on 2024 NCAA Quarterfinalist Virginia in Charlottesville with play starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 22.

The Deacs close the road portion of the spring schedule at Duke on Saturday, Mar. 6 at Noon.

Returning to Kentner Stadium on Saturday, Apr. 5, the Demon Deacons will take on Big Four rival North Carolina at Noon.

An annual tradition, Wake Forest hosts their charity fundraiser Spikeball Tournament in the McCreary Football Field House on Saturday, Apr. 12 benefiting the Maria Whitehead's fund for melanoma research. The Deacs will also host their alumni weekend, welcoming back former athletes to Winston-Salem on the 12th.

Wake Forest closes the spring slate against James Madison on Saturday, Apr. 19 at 2 p.m. from Kentner Stadium.
