Quotables
"Extremely disappointed for the squad. To have the strength and the success that we showed throughout the season kind of lose its wind in the last couple of games was disappointing for all. We didn't play great hockey tonight. There were some individual battles that were outstanding. It's just growth that a program at times has to go through in order to see the other side of it. So we'll take these lessons, but it doesn't take away from the incredible pride that these ladies represented Wake Hockey with throughout the 2025 season. I'm very proud of each and every one of them.

I want to acknowledge the fact that Amelia, Rachel, and Ellie certainly were three instrumental people who didn't deviate from the process, continuing every year to get themselves stronger and make this team better and stronger. They added huge value to this program, and we'll be remembered for that." – Head Coach Jen Averill
