With their selections, the Demon Deacons earned two NABC All-District selections in the same season for the first time since 2010.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Wake Forest men's basketball senior guards Hunter Sallis and Cameron Hildreth have earned National Association of Basketball Coaches All-South Atlantic District selections, as announced by the organization on Tuesday. Sallis earned a first-team selection while Hildreth was named to the second-team.
The NABC introduced a new model for its Division I district alignment this season, with schools arranged by state rather than by conference. The modernized NABC Division I district alignment features 10 geographic regions that each encompass multiple states. Every Division I school in each given state belongs to that state's corresponding district.
With their honors, the Demon Deacons earned two NABC All-District selections in the same season for the first time since 2010 (Al-Farouq Aminu and Ish Smith).
Additionally, this is the 10th time in program history that Wake Forest has had multiple players named to the NABC All-District Teams.
For Sallis, he becomes the first Deac to earn multiple first-team all-district selections since Tim Duncan (1996-97) and the fifth player in program history to do so.
*-Wake Forest Sports Hall of Fame inductee
Sallis recently completed an accolade-filled Wake Forest career, as he also earned his second-consecutive first-team All-ACC selection. The Omaha, Neb., native started all 32 games during the 2024-25 campaign and led the team in scoring, field goals made, three pointers made and assists.
Hildreth, meanwhile, finished his time in Winston-Salem with 131 career appearances – tied for the most in program history.
