- Women's Soccer:
- Wake Forest women's soccer wrapped their second week of matches, highlighted by a third consecutive shutout against Villanova last Thursday and their first road trip of the season.
- During the 2-0 victory, redshirt sophomore Sierra Sythe tallied her first goal of the season while Brooke Miller recorded her first career assist and first points in the Old Gold and Black.
- Freshman Kylie Maxwell posted her first multi-point game of the year, notching the second goal of the match and earning an assist on the first.
- In net, redshirt sophomore Valentina Amaral faced eight shots and made two saves to secure her tenth clean sheet of her career. This marks the most consecutive shutouts to start a season dating back to 2021.
- Wake Forest women's soccer wrapped their second week of matches, highlighted by a third consecutive shutout against Villanova last Thursday and their first road trip of the season.
- Field Hockey:
- Wake Forest field hockey will begin the 2025 campaign this weekend with a pair of matches in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
- The season opener will take place on Friday, Aug. 29 as the Deacs face Iowa for a 3:30 p.m. start. Wake Forest will then conclude the opening weekend with an 11 a.m. start against Michigan on Sunday.
- Both contests are set to take place in Iowa City.
- The Demon Deacons checked in at No. 20 in the initial 2025 NFHCA Division I Coaches poll which was unveiled on Tuesday.
- Volleyball:
- Wake Forest volleyball is set to open the 2025 season this weekend, competing in Cincinnati's Tribute to #10 Invitational. The Demon Deacons will be one of three programs participating in the event with Cincinnati and Michigan.
- Wake Forest matches up with Cincinnati in the season opener on Friday with first serve set for 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday afternoon will be a 3 p.m. start between the Deacs and Michigan.
- Wake Forest volleyball enters its 46th season in program history this fall, with a roster that features eight returners and seven newcomers. Head coach Jeff Hulsmeyer is in his first season at the helm of the program.
- Wake Forest volleyball is set to open the 2025 season this weekend, competing in Cincinnati's Tribute to #10 Invitational. The Demon Deacons will be one of three programs participating in the event with Cincinnati and Michigan.
- Cross Country:
- The Demon Deacons open the 2025 season by hosting UNC Greensboro for the second-consecutive season on Friday, Aug. 29 at Salem Lake.
- Last year, the Demon Deacons placed an incredible fourth-place at the NCAA Southeast Regional.
