Wake Forest Places 282 on ACC Academic Honor Roll, Over 70 Percent of Demon Deacons Honored

For the eighth consecutive year, over 50 percent of the Wake Forest student-athletes have landed on the academic achievement list.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A total of 282 Wake Forest student-athletes have earned spots on the 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll, as announced on Friday by the conference office.
This marks the sixth consecutive year that the Demon Deacons have landed more than 280 student-athletes on the ACC Academic Honor Roll. Overall, 282 student-athletes represent over 70 percent of all Demon Deacon student-athletes.
This is also the eighth consecutive year that over 50 percent of the student-athletes have landed on the list.
"We are very proud of our student-athletes and this great academic accomplishment," Jane Caldwell, Sr. Associate AD, Student-Athlete Services and Assistant to the Dean said. "I would also like to extend my gratitude for my colleagues and our professors for their hard work in assisting our entire student body. Our student-athletes have represented our University and the Athletic Department with integrity and their hard work is an inspiration to us all."
The ACC Honor Roll consists of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year.
The Wake Forest football team led the way with 72 honorees, followed closely behind by track and field with a combined 56 honorees.
Of the 282 honorees, 147 Wake Forest student-athletes earned ACC Academic Honor Roll honors multiple times during their academic period on campus. This includes 63 student-athletes that have earned this distinction for the second time, 45 who were on the list for the third time and 28 who were four-year honorees.
Also among the 147 multi-year honorees were Cooper Flax of men's soccer, Dylan Hazen of football, Andrew Kivett of track and field, Zach Lohavichan of Football and BJ Williams of Football, who all earned their fifth ACCC Academic Honor Roll selections.
Meanwhile, Nick Andersen of football, Will Cobb of football, Matthew Dennis of football and Sophie Faircloth of women's soccer joined an exclusive club of six-year honorees. Notably, Faircloth becomes the third female student-athlete to earn the honor for the sixth time, joining Robbie Grace and Anna Bush.
