2025 (Junior): Made the jump to the No. 1 spot for the Demon Deacons in singles competition... Led the team with 13 singles victories during the spring season... Earned her first career ACC Player of the Week honor on March 11th after picking up back-to-back ranked victories against No. 22 Sara Ziodato of Virginia (6-4, 6-4) and No. 26 Ozlem Uslu of Virginia Tech (6-3, 6-2)... Her victory over Ziodato also marked her first top-25 victory of her career... Also picked up a ranked win over Navy's Emily Tannenbaum, 7-5, 6-1... Recorded 12 doubles victories with freshman Kady Tannenbaum, with all 12 wins coming at the second doubles position... Picked up two victories over ranked doubles teams during the season... All-ACC Academic Team... ITA Scholar Athlete
2024 (Sophomore): Again mainly competed at the No. 4 spot for Wake Forest in singles as a sophomore...Racked up 13 wins for the entire year, 10 of which happened in dual matches...Caught fire during the month of March, going 8-2 in solo matches from March 1 to March 22, as all but one of her eight victories resulted in straight sets...Landed a ranked win over No. 76 Shahar Biran of South Carolina during the Gamecocks' hosted Carolina Kickoff -- Wake Forest's first event of the spring...Four ACC wins went her way throughout the spring...Captured six doubles wins during the fall, all happening alongside classmate Whitley Pate...All-ACC Academic Team.
2023 (Freshman): Played a major role in her first collegiate season...Primarily performed at No. 4 in singles and No. 3 in doubles alongside fellow classmate Whitley Pate...Carton's 16 singles victories finished second-best on the roster, including a three-match win streak to cap off the spring...Stepped up in a handful of big moments...Clinched a second-round win in the ACC tournament over No. 8-seeded Notre Dame (April 20)...Secured the championship victory at the 75th annual Blue Gray Classic with a three-set win over Texas Tech's Metka Komac...Provided major solo wins in comebacks against No. 23 Arizona State in the NCAA Championships' Round of 64 (May 5) and at home versus Virginia Tech (April 14)...Went 12-8 overall in doubles with Pate...The freshmen pairing won five of six showings from Feb. 25 to March 10...All-ACC Academic Team...ACC Academic Honor Roll.
