Thirteen Demon Deacons Named to All-ACC Academic Team

It marks the third straight year of 10 or more Demon Deacons being recognized by the league.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A total of 13 Demon Deacons were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Academic Team, announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon.
Brooke Bettencourt (Undeclared), Brenna Campagna (Undeclared), Amelia Frey (Health and Exercise Science), Rory Heslin (Business and Enterprise Management), Faye Janse (Communication), Lena Keller (Undeclared), Georgia Leary (Business and Enterprise Management), Mia Montag (Undeclared), Ava Moore (Critical and Creative Media), Sarah Mudd (Undeclared), Mia Schoenbeck (Health and Exercise Science), Rachel Thetford (Health and Exercise Science) and Flo Tuthill (Communication) all garnered the prestigious honor thanks to a combination of academic and athletic achievements during the 2025 campaign.
It marks the third straight year of 10 or more Demon Deacons being recognized by the league.
This marks the third-straight year Thetford earned recognition, while Frey, Janse, Leary, Moore, Schoenbeck and Tuthill earned All-ACC Academic honors for the second time.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester, a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career while playing in 50 percent of a team's contests.
