Wake Forest Announces Time Change Against Virginia; Welcome WSFCS Students, Educators & Staff

The Demon Deacons will move its game originally scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Thursday to an earlier 3:00 p.m. tipoff time and for closed Winston-Salem and Forsyth County Schools the game will be free to any student or staff with a WSFCS ID.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Due to anticipated weather conditions, Wake Forest women's basketball's upcoming home contest scheduled for 6:00 p.m. this Thursday against the Virginia Cavaliers has been moved up to a 3:00 p.m. tipoff time.
In a week when many Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools students, educators, and staff have been navigating unexpected closures and disrupted routines, Wake Forest Athletics made a purposeful decision to offer a moment of connection by providing free admission to Thursday's game for any WSFCS student or staff member with a valid school ID.
With that, tickets remain available for purchase here for as low as $7.
Doors will now open at 2:00 p.m.
