10/18/2026 2:35:00 PM | Field Hockey
Four different Deacs recorded goals on the day.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The No. 6 Wake Forest field hockey team shut out Davidson 5-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Senior Mia Schoenbeck recorded a brace on the day.
Junior Lena Keller recorded a goal in the second quarter.
Senior Ava Moore recorded a goal off a penalty corner in the second quarter.
Junior Mia Montag added a goal in the fourth quarter to help seal the win.
Davidson's offense was held to zero shot attempts, while Wake had 27.
How It Happened
"Excellent rebound. I was really pleased to see the message of Saturday morning received well and then implemented into a game plan. Very fortunate that we kept it simple and allowed a lot of players to rotate in and get some fresh looks. We moved the ball well and had more intensity on the defense side of things. "
The Deacs head to UNC on Friday night to face the Tar Heels at 6 p.m., before returning home against JMU on Sunday.
