The LJVM Advantage
Wake Forest men's basketball has built one of college basketball's premier home court advantages over the last five seasons, as the Demon Deacons have collected 73 victories at LJVM Coliseum since 2021.
The 73 home victories are tied for the 11th-most nationally during that span and second-most amongst ACC programs.
Season To Date
The Demon Deacons have won 17 games so far this season including 12 at LJVM Coliseum.
Individually, sophomore guard Juke Harris has constructed one of the best seasons by a Wake Forest player in program history as the Salisbury, N.C., native was named ACC Most Improved Player and a second-team All-ACC selection.
He holds the program record for consecutive 10-plus-point games in a season (33) and became just the third player in program history to score more than 700 points in a season, joining Dickie Hemric (1954-55) and Len Chappell (twice; 1960-61 and 1961-62).
Senior Nate Calmese, meanwhile, returned from a pair of injuries to play in the ACC Tournament while scoring 20 points against Clemson in the second round.
In a first round overtime victory, seven Demon Deacons scored in double figures, becoming just the second team in ACC Tournament history to have seven players score 10 or more points in the same game. The first team to achieve that was the 2007 Deacs who had seven score 10-plus points in a double overtime victory against Georgia Tech.
