Wake Forest Faces No. 13 Virginia in Final Road Regular Season Game

The Demon Deacons’ all-time series with Virginia is tied 72-72.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Wake Forest men's basketball is set for its final road regular season game on Tuesday evening, as the Demon Deacons will face No. 13 Virginia at John Paul Jones Arena.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the matchup will air nationally on the ACC Network.
Last Time Out
Junior guard Myles Colvin recorded his second career 30-point game to help lead Wake Forest to an 88-83 win over Syracuse on Saturday night at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
The Indianapolis native finished just one point shy of his career high as he recorded 32 points on 9-of-12 shooting, including 7-of-8 from three-point range. Colvin also logged a team-high eight rebounds, three assists and a block.
Senior forward Tre'Von Spillers reached double figures for the seventh time in ACC play as he tallied 16 points while going 8-of-12 from the floor. The Charleston, S.C., native added four assists, three rebounds, three blocks and two steals.
Sophomore guard Juke Harris extended his double-digit scoring streak to 29-straight games as he totaled 13 points, five rebounds and two steals while setting a career-high with five assists.
Junior forward Cooper Schwieger and sophomore guard Sebastian Akins combined for all 21 of the Deacs' bench points on Saturday. Schwieger connected on all five of his field goal attempts as he registered 11 points, four rebounds and two assists, while Akins totaled 10 points, three assists, two rebounds, a block and a steal.
Overall, the Demon Deacons went 33-for-57 (57.9 percent) from the field, including a 56.3 percent clip from three-point range.

Wake Forest's 53 total wins in ACC play since the beginning of the 2021-22 season are fifth-most in the conference during that span.

Sophomore guard Juke Harris continues to pace the Demon Deacons in scoring this season, as he's reached a double-digit scoring total in all 29 games while ranking second in the ACC in points per game (22.6) in conference games.
After averaging 6.1 points per game as a freshman, Harris' 15.3 points per game increase this year is the highest increase year-over-year in the nation.
Additionally, Harris is one of only two ACC players – and one of just five nationally – averaging 21 points and 6 rebounds per game this season, joining Duke's Cameron Boozer.
