- Track & Field:
- The Demon Deacons competed in the Duke Invitational and Hurricane Alumni Invitational this past weekend.
- Freshman Victoria Rodriguez recorded a second-place finish in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase, posting a personal-best time of 10:13.77. The Mercer Island, Wash., finished the race nearly 18 seconds faster than her previous best time, which she set at the Raleigh Relays.
- Graduate student Issy Goldstein finished right behind Rodriguez as she logged a season-best time of 10:16.27 to secure third place. With the result, the Ambler, Pa., jumped into fifth in Wake Forest history in the steeplechase.
- Freshman Natalia Issler led the charge for the Demon Deacons at the Duke Invitational, posting a time of 2:03.48 to secure a third-place finish in the women's 800 meters. The Horgen, Switzerland, native now ranks second all-time in Wake Forest history for the women's outdoor 800 meters, finishing just under a quarter of a second behind the school record.
- Sophomore Amy Weybrecht added another strong performance in the women's 800 meters, placing eighth with a time of 2:06.75. The Gates Mills, Ohio, native also moved into sixth all-time in program history with the result.
- Senior Casey Sullivan produced a career performance in the women's shot put, recording a throw of 15.51 meters to take home second place and jump into sixth all-time in school history.
- In the Hurricane Alumni Invitational, junior Seren Rodgers notched a third-place finish in the women's heptathlon, totaling 5,474 points, ranking second in program history. Rodgers also moved into sixth all-time in the women's long jump after posting a mark of 6.01 meters.
- The Demon Deacons will host the annual Wake Forest Invitational on April 16-17 at Kenner Stadium. Admission is free.
- The Demon Deacons competed in the Duke Invitational and Hurricane Alumni Invitational this past weekend.
- Women's Tennis:
- The Demon Deacons completed the regular season on Sunday afternoon, defeating Virginia Tech 4-1.
- The Demon Deacons officially finish as the 12 seed in the ACC, meaning they will play 13-seed Syracuse in their first match of the ACC Championships on Wednesday, April 15.
- Evie Oxford caps the regular season with a phenomenal 17-2 singles record. She leads the team in singles wins (17) and total wins (25).
