Wake Forest returns to the Seminole’s home course for the first time since 2018.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest women's golf has earned the No. 2 seed for the upcoming NCAA Regionals beginning May 11. Hosted by Florida State, the Tallahassee Regional will take place at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course, ranked 57th among courses in Florida.
The Demon Deacons return to the course for the first time since 2018, which saw the Deacs advance to the NCAA Championship on a playoff.
Wake Forest boasts a historical presence at the NCAA Regionals, highlighted in recent years by their 2024 victory at the Lubbock Regional. Under the leadership of head coach Kim Lewellen, Wake Forest has finished third or better in their regional appearances, excluding 2020 tournament, which did not take place due to COVID restrictions.
All six regionals will be contested May 11-13 over 54 holes with the top five teams at each site advancing to the NCAA Championship, set for May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California. Championship play will be hosted by Texas, with the final three days of the championships televised live by the GOLF Channel.
